Small business owners can learn how to better manage their risk through a commercial
insurance education program developed by the Urban Insurance Partners Institute.
The program provides basic information, such as policy types, overall asset
protection, and making the business a better insurance risk. The following presentation,
developed at the request of community development organizations, insurers and
others, is available in many cities nationwide.
Community
Tool Bank
UIPI has helped develop tool lending libraries, which provide local residents
with tools commonly used in rehabilitating homes. These libraries are
managed by community revitalization organizations. Contact the UIPI for
information on how your company or community group can get involved.
